RACE DAY!!
Today after the Meet Warmup we got right into...
6 x 75 race @ 4:00- one heat every 2 minutes
This is in your main race stroke (only one stroke for all 6 x 75); keep track of average time
After #6...
150 drill/choice by 25's- figure avg time for the 75's, and then double it
Put fins on
With fins, finish up with...
3 x 150* swim (same stroke as 75's above) desc 1-3 to max effort
*the goal on #3 is to be faster than your avg 75 time (x2)!
Warmdown a bit before you help take out the lanelines. Do an excellent job in school today (and enjoy National Donut Day!) and get excited for our June meets. If anybody is racing tomorrow, I will not be there (but I will be there for Sunday), do an excellent job with your warmups/cooldowns, etc...
Lastly, NO WORKOUT on Sunday, then back to 5a on Mon/Tue/Wed next week. Have a great day!
