RACE DAY!!
Two options today:
DISTANCE-
AMRAP of:
1 x 150
1 x 175
No rest between rounds
All 150's are @ 2:15, smooth long stroke here
175's start @ 2:15, and get :05 faster with each round (how LOW can you go?)
When you get to 1 x 175 @ 1:50, check your HR and take 1:00 rest before continuing
When you miss the interval on the 175, join in with the IM group
IM Group (sprinters, too)-
6 x 50 race from a dive @ 3:00- these are all one stroke, in your main race stroke
8-10 minutes of active recovery; then...
6 x 75 race IM from a dive @ 4:00
fly/back/breast, by 25's. Race somebody your speed
8-10 minutes active recovery before you get out
Warmdown a bit before you get out. Do an excellent job in school today & get excited for the meet next weekend. Have a great day!
