After the Meet Warmup, we did a short fly drilling set w/fins (12 x 25 @ :40, 3 drill/1 swim); then...
RACE DAY!!
Pretty simple set today with the meet this weekend...
3 rounds of:
1 x 75 race in heats (2 groups in each heat), get time
25 easy, then...
3 x 25 race @ :10 rest, trying to be faster (add up time for 3 x 25) than your 75
8-10 minutes active recovery between rounds.
Go MRS (main race stroke, no free)/free/choice by round
Warmdown a bit before you get out. Be sure to take everything with you when you leave and do an excellent job in school today. See you at the Freedom Center this weekend, get excited to race!
